KILT Protocol

KILT is a Blockchain protocol that allows trusted entities to issue certificates and allows the receivers of the certificates to store them in a self-sovereign way. This way, KILT enables a new market and re-establishes trust in the internet. KILT is an essential building block of the Web 3.0. Possible use cases range from secure single-sign-on to issuing official documents and various IOT applications. KILT strictly keeps the user in control of their data and thus breaks up data silos and re-democratises the Web. The KILT Blockchain is based on third-generation DLT and supplies a simple SDK, which makes it easy for developers to build useful applications on top of KILT, even with little to no knowledge of blockchain technology.
BOTLabs is the company behind KILT Protocol. In January 2018 Ingo Rübe founded BOTLabs together with the German publishing house Hubert Burda Media. In autumn 2018 the Swiss publisher Ringier AG participated as an additional shareholder. BOTLabs is a part of the movement towards Web 3.0.
